Celeste Jones

Deaconess Celeste H Jones, age 93, of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania passed away October 26, 2018.  Wife of the late Deacon  Jesse L. Jones, Sr; mother of Diana L. Manns of Dayton Ohio, Jesse L Jones Jr (Rose), Rev. Curtis M. Jones Sr. (Deborah) and Rhonda G. Hall, all of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.  She is also survived by two sisters, Sarah Reed (John) of Pittsburgh and LaVera Howard (James) of Trotwood, Ohio, two sister-in-laws Gloria Dean Kelly and Rita Jones.  God daughter Vanessa H. Wright, 9 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren and 11 great great-grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews and friends.

Celeste was a retiree of the City of Pittsburgh, where she worked as a school crossing guard for 27 years and a member of the Mt. Olive Baptist Church of Sharpsburg.

Interment will be at Restland Memorial Park.
