Obituary
Joyce J. Harris was born on October 9, 1941 in Pittsburgh, PA. She attended Pittsburgh Public Schools and graduated from Schenley High School with honors. She later married and had her oldest 2 children Errol, Carla. Later, she went on to have 2 more sons, Gorman (Shawn) and Todd Harris.
Joyce devoted her life to her children and grandchildren. She became a member of the Elks and was an honored member of the Eastern Stars. She enjoyed sewing, shopping and traveling in style. Joyce was known for her effervescent spirit and wise kind words.
Joyce made her heavenly transition on January 3, 2021.
She was preceded in death by her son Errol Harris, her grandson Shakkeem Harris, and her granddaughter Shamera Harris.
Joyce will be eternally missed by her sons Gorman (Shawn) and Todd Harris; daughter Carla Harris, her grandson Emanuel Harris and both of her beloved greatgrandchildren; and a host of other family members and friends.
Services will be held on Friday, January 8, 2021 at George A. Warden Funeral Home Viewing: 10am-11:30am (walk through only) Funeral Service 12pm-1pm (Private)
